The Love of God

God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ‘I love you - Billy Graham

Have you still remember the slogan created by popular shoe brand, says "Just Do It"?. I t was commonly published through merchandised items sold by this company. A lot of us became attracted with this vogue tagline. This statement reflects two points : One is about immoral fulfillment that tackles the things which would satisfies our earthly needs like alcohol, drugs, and sex. Most of them says, make the most out of your life or you only live once, so why not relish yourself in an unethical habit. We usually think of what will satisfy our hunger even if it would lead us in to danger. We are prone to be tempted and are vulnerable of doing the things that is against the will of the Lord.

"We can choose what we want to do but we cannot choose the consequence on what we've done" .

We are blinded by the sin that we tend to do, Our sin is the biggest barricade, why we cannot meet God's holiness. According to Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord " there is no exception in sinning. We cannot say that our heart is clean and pure. Sin means eternal death in the lake of fire [ " Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire This is the second death " - Revelation 20:13 ]. After death we automatically face our judgement day; It's either Heaven or Hell, there is no more option between the two. No one wants to be in an internal flame, thus we desire eternally praise our God. But how can we suppose to make it through the heaven? And this is where my second point takes your hope. As we look back to Romans 6:23b " .., but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord " our hope is granted.

God is faithful and just, He loved us not because of the things what we have done or chose us not based on what we can offer to Him. Scripture says, "For God so love the world that He gave his only Son that who ever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life" - John 3:16 our God gave us one true love which is Jesus, who embrace our flaws and weakness. He offered His life to gave us life, His selfless love saved us. Jesus choose to live and suffered death in exchange to His eternal promise. His sacrificial love brings redemption to our hopeless life. God wants you to be with Him eternally. Just Do It , just believed that through repentance of your sin and knowing that Jesus alone would save you from your hopeless life.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" - Ephesians 3:23

Sometimes we are still blinded by the traps that satan prepared along our journey. Satan will make you realized that you should love the world and not God this will draw us in to caution. But Jesus, the light that would shun all of the darkness and turn it into life. Our faith will take us into a promise that God has for us. God offers chances in believing on Him, and walk with Him eternally, If you wish to accept God as your Lord and Savior make this as your personal prayer :

"Almighty God, I humbly praised and come to You to thank all the things that you have done for my life. At this moment of time, I know that I have sinned against You, and regret all of this things, I asked for your forgiveness, clean my heart and make it pure. I admit that I am weak and barely need you in my life, I accept You as my Lord and personal Savior. Help me as I embark this journey with You. Thank you Lord, In Jesus name I pray, Amen"
