SEPTEMBER SPIRITUAL SUPPLEMENT DAY 1

Read Matthew 5:3-12

What is the best reward that you have received and was unexpectedly granted unto you?

The happiness that I had gain right after receiving my diploma on my graduation day. I left my half-teary eyed before ending the ceremony. It feels surreal upon marking an end life on my college. I will surely miss a lot of great stuff in my university. My victory is also from the pocket full of perseverance and motivation coming from my greatest weakness and inspiration, my family and it will not be possible without the guidance of the Lord throughout the year. There is always enough satisfaction in every awards that we acquire. If we achieved something on school or promoted as an officer of the year or even win on a raffle promo, it drives us out to keep onto pressing forward until we gain another unexpected price. Rewards is something that we look forward after fighting our greatest battle in life. All rewards doesn't always be like a tangible one. The Lord has He’s own reward for us,

“Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven….” Matthew 5:12a. NIV

This is a reward that we all desire, our greatest possession is not always found in every material wealth or in anything that we acquire on our own. Hence, this text shows that in every setbacks of our lives the goodness of the Lord never fails to unveil.

He gives us strength if we feel weary, comfort if we feel anguish, hope if we are lost, provision for our needs and love if we feel unaccepted.

The Lord offers an everlasting gift in heaven, and for you to acquire this reward you must know Him and all the things that He did on the cross. Invite and accept Him to be your Lord and Savior, repent all of your sins and you will be forgiven

“Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things”

Colossians 3:2.
